Ideal for deep water fishing, surfcasting and catching fish for the kids too.
KL style recurve, a cross between a "longline" hook and a widegap or kahle. Leave the drag on and the fish hook themselves. the recurve design ensures most fish are hooked in the corner of the mouth.
If fishing in deep water or night fishing, the longer the lumo bead is exposed to to a strong light or sunlight, the longer and brighter it will glow.

When fishing over a mud or sand bottom tie the sinker 100mm below the second dropper. this will help catch fish feeding on or near the bottom. .

The original flasher rig designed, developed and hand rigged in New Zealand. We combine the very best components to deliver a quality paternoster rig that will allow you to catch a huge range of species. Each rig includes our chemically sharpened, super rust resistant hooks, abrasion resistant Tough Trace and strong barrel swivels. 

The soft Japanese lumo beads and UV content in the skirts, make the rigs more enticing in deep water, at night, or in low light conditions.

Our Snatchers® are designed to be fished with bait, and are ideal for fishing from the beach, rocks, wharf, or boat.
Our Tarakihi Snatchers® incorporate our KL recurve hooks and are tied with either 2 or 3 hooks per rig. The 2 hook rigs meet the fishing regulations in most jurisdictions.
For extra appeal add a small triangle of bait – avoid blocking the gape
With bait attached you have everything working for you, a bait and a lure in one - fish will often hit on the “drop” or “retrieve”
