Fluoroflex Plus is made from 100% fluorocarbon (PVDF) and is the strongest, thinnest fluorocarbon available. Its fine diameter (similar to copolymer tippet materials) plus the refractory index of fluorocarbon in water make Fluoroflex Plus almost invisible to fish.
Being a fluorocarbon, Fluoroflex Plus is heavier than monofilaments and copolymers and therefore sinks quicker, making it good for all types of sub-surface fly fishing. It is also good for stillwater dry fly fishing because it will sink through the surface tension and be less obvious to fish than tippet materials that stay in the surface film.
Fluoroflex Plus is a slightly softer material than Fluoroflex and ties excellent knots.
Fluoroflex Plus is ideal in fishing situations where finesse is required to fool spooky fish. 30 yard (27.5m) spools.
