I personally use one of these Mallets for my Motorcycling Camping Trips. As it is Light to carry (I have limited space) and packs a punch. My tent is a Tatonka tent, and this mallet smacks the pegs in with no trouble at all, and I use the handle for pulling the pegs at pack up time in the morning.
All in all, this is light, robust, extremely strong and ticks all the box's.
