Te Aro have manufactured Cobras to replace the Tilllins Lures, due to the Tillins Moulds being sold to a European country which made them un-available to NZ. 

The Cobra is made from high impact plastic. The aqua foil wings, which give the lure that very enticing stop-start swimming action, are clear plastic. My favorite colours are the Traffic Light (no.101) and the Barred Pink (no.127). Though many anglers of course have their own ideas. The barred bronze coloured number 132 has also been used to good effect on Opening Day in the Kaiapoi River, near Christchurch. 

Another tactic often employed by and trolling Cobras is to replace the hook with a brightly coloured fly!
