 Kilwell Tica Jig King rods are constructed using high modulus graphite composite materials to be light weight and give immense lifting power, ideal for dealing to XOS Kingfish, and Dogtooth Tuna.
The parabolic Jig King action is perfect for speed jigging. Hi density EVA grips, graphite channel-lock palm swell grip and a bespoke alloy insert and gimbal finish the rod build.
These high performance rods were designed by Kilwell staff.
Like all Kilwell branded products these rods carry the Kilwell Lifetime Warranty.

Suitable for up to 350gm jigs and PE rating #3 to #7.

The parabolic action is perfect for Japanese style speed jigging. The blanks are fitted with new generation ALPS XN guides which incorporate a S-6 316 stainless frame with deep pressed ceramic inserts to prevent damage. Hi density EVA grips, graphite channel-lock palm swell grip and a bespoke alloy insert and gimbal finish the rod build. These Jig King rods were spec’ed by Kilwell staff to suit NZ fishing conditions and carry a 12 month warranty against faulty materials and workmanship. To suit three separate jig weights the rods are available in; 5”6” 250g, 5’3” 350g and 5’ 450gm.
