The XD Surf stepped things up in 2020 with an even more high modular blank allowing a 20% increase in cast ability. Keeping all the proven features of previous models like the durable integrated bindings and solid casting grip there are some slick new additions. Glowing tip, placement for casting cannon and Fuji K guides have been added to give the angler more choice and options. The XD surf is a real beast of a rod!
Composite Developments Salt Water Fishing Rods
The entire Composite Developments salt water range is built using the best materials available. When building our rods we prefer to use the ‘less is more’ approach - by always choosing higher grade graphite we can use less - giving a lighter and stronger blank.
Plumb fibre technology includes a helical wind on the inside of our blanks which combined with unidirectional glass allows a further saving in weight without detracting from the strength of the blank. The famous Albagraph range is the perfect case in point with three rods that compared to their strength are incredibly light.
