These frames were designed for dragging in the rivers around Karamea. They are reinforced where they are bent at the handle.
The sleeve for the handle is bent forward before reinforcing flat is welded in. It is easier to pull through the water from in front of the net. It comes with a 32mm 2 piece handle set  (each 1.65m long)

Pole nets are made from 6063 alloy, They are reinforced where they are bent at the handle end. The hoops are measured around the circumference.
Hoops are riveted into the sleeve that the handle fits into. The handles are 32mm (1&1/8") X 1.42mm wall thickness.
