Bushnell® Night Vision. State-of-the-art, compact designs that offer superior vision in the lowest light conditions. Setting the standard in light-gathering technology, each product features built-in infrared illuminators for enhanced images even in the darkest shadows. Ideal when camping, caving and observing wildlife under the veil of darkness, they're equally suited for patrolling warehouses and similar surveillance operations where no detectable ambient light exists. Our audio monocular model even features a boom microphone, headphone and recording port, so you'll see and hear exactly what you're looking at. Bushnell Night Vision is the ultimate in stealth, and that's a quality no flashlight can ever claim.NIGHTWATCH Spring forward. Fall back. Or maybe go fetal. No telling how you’ll react when faced with what lurks after dark, but with Bushnell® Night Vision, time will never again dictate your hours of operation. These optics turn night into day with built-in infrared illuminators and advanced light-gathering technology. The entire lineup is perfect for camping, caving, wildlife observation, surveillance – any time or place you think you’re ready.MODEL # 26-4051MAGNIFICATION X OBJECTIVE LENS: 4.0x50VIEWING RANGE ft/m: 5-700 / 1.5-213FIELD OF VIEW ft/m: 70 / 23INFRARED ILLUMINATOR: Yes (Built-In)BATTERY TYPE: CR123A (1)SIZE (in/mm): 6.4x2.4x3.2 / 163x61x81WEIGHT (oz/g): 15.8 / 448TRIPOD MOUNT: YesGREAT FOR: Close-Range Viewing (Security), Long-Range Viewing (Wildlife Observation)SPECIAL FEATURES : - Gen 1 Monocular- Powerful 4x magnification with long viewing range- Water resistant Features 4x magnificationViewing range up to 700 ft.50mm objective lens for improved light gatheringRubber armored housingTripod mountNight Vision UsesScouting gameSecurity and surveillanceCamping fun / Exploring cavesNighttime navigationNight fishing and boatingWildlife observationSearch and rescueHOW DOES IT WORK?Available light (energy) is collected by the objective lens and focused on the image intensifier.Inside the intensifier a photocathode is "excited" by the light and converts the energy into electrons. The electrons accelerate across an electrostatic field inside the intensifier and strike a phosphor screen (like a monochrome TV screen) which emits an image that you can see. This acceleration of electrons provides gain and enhances the image.Types of Night Vision Generation 1 - Does not require an active infrared light source. Instead it amplifies available ambient light.Advanced Night Vision - Utilizes fiber optic bundles to eliminate distortion and noise resulting in a high-resolution, high-contrast premium image. Superior contrast allows you to see dark subjects against darker backgrounds. Lower distortion renders a flatter, less rounded image with crisper details.Digital Night Vision - Utilising a CCD image sensor & a number of LED infrared illuminators, digital night vision doesn't have the distortion around the edges nor black spots that traditional night vision has.Night Vision Binocular - Two complete sets of optics and image intensifiers that are connected together and share a common power supply.Night Vision Monocular - A Night Vision device for use with one eye.Audio Monocular - Features direct sound amplification technology. Headphones, boom microphone and recording port included.
