I personally use one of these Vibralock tele rods for fishing the remote rivers i come by during my Adventure riding in the backblocks of the eastcoast area (And at Lake Waikaremoana). I find it packs away small for the main part of travel, and when I reach the river area, or the lake, I unpack it from the fantastic rod case, and place it in the rod holder I have fitted to my bike, for ease of use between stops.
All in all, this is light, robust, extremely strong and ticks all the box's. 
You may not be a mad motorcycling fisherman, but this will also easily tuck away in your camper, or in the car, ready for you to stop and catch a fish in your travels.
You will not be disappointed.
