Berkley BigEye Blades - Jabberwockey
The Bigeye Blades have proved very successfull trolling for trout on NZ Lakes.
The vibrating bladed lure has been around for a long time, the reason is simple, they work. Designed by Matt Fraser, the Berkley Bigeye blade incorporates a tiny sonic rattle chamber into it’s 34mm body to enhance bite appeal. The blades natural vibrating shimmy combined with the inbuilt sonic rattle chamber creates an incredible fish attracting ‘noise’ that attracts the attention of any predator in the vicinity.
Add to this the oversized 3D eyes for maximum reaction, multi positional tow points that produce different actions, vibrations and sonic frequencies at different retrieve speeds plus dual tail hook positioning points and you have an incredibly versatile lure design. Oh, and all Bigeye Blades come armed with super sharp Owner trebles.
At 34mm in length and weighing in at 4.6gms it represents a bite sized morsel to any self respecting breambo. Pro tested and endorsed by the Berkley Pro team - Mark ‘Mango’ Mangold won the 2008 Gippsland super series while testing the Big Eye Blades, you can’t get a better test result than that!
