RIO Introduces its NEW AGENTX Formula and Super Fusion technology RIO Products leads floating fly line technology with the introduction of its NEW AGENTX formula to their RIO Grand, Nymph and Selective Trout lines using the process of Super Fusion Technology. By simultaneously combining an inner core of AGENTX formula with an outer PVC coating the highest floating, smoothest casting and most durable fly lines available today have been created. The process has been taken one step further in the first 4 feet of the tip of the line, the portion of the line where achieving consistently good flotation is most difficult. RIO apply 2 coats of pure AGENTX to the first 4 feet to produce tip sections that float both higher and longer than the tips of other floating fly lines.

RIO Gold lines have a revolutionary taper design that gives tremendous loop stability at distance plus a unique weight distribution that loads the rod for easy close range casting as well. The front taper delivers perfect turnover and presentation and the long back taper is excellent for mending and roll casting. The moss coloured head section is perfect for fishing in clear back country or still water conditions.
The colour change between the head (moss colour) and the running line (gold) makes it easy to find the perfect load point for longer casts. The gold coloured running line helps the angler control the drift of long casts and helps them maintain better control when playing fish.
RIO Gold fly lines feature RIO's new Extreme Slickness Technology for an extraordinarily slick, dirt-repelling coating. In addition, RIO's AgentX and Super Floatation Technologies ensure the line tip and running line remain high floating as well.
As with all of RIO's premier trout lines a small, neat welded loop in the front end makes it easy to change leaders.
