For multi-skilled anglers who cast, jig, troll or live-bait, there are no better performing star drag overheads on the market than the Shimano Trinidads.

Trinidads are just loaded with useful features, including a one-piece machined aluminium frame, one-piece forged aluminium sideplates, an aluminium spool, Super Stopper plus an Assist Stopper anti-reverse pawl, six A-RB bearings and one roller bearing, precision click-adjust star drag, rubberised ergonomic power handle, adjustable tension clicker (a Baitrunner system for an overhead no less!) and a Dartanium drag system.

HEG 
High Effeciency Gearing (HEG)
HEG consists of not only the gears, but also the frame, setplate, and handle-side sideplate. First we increased the size of the drive gear and the pinion gear to offer increased leverage and power. By using a one-piece frame that incorporates the setplate and adding a one-piece stamped sideplate, we have eliminated flex in the drivetrain that causes normal gears to bind under pressure. By eliminating the flex and increasing the leverage, we are able to provide high-speed retrieves and deliver an incredible amount of torque, while maintaining the smooth, silent retrieve Shimano reels are famous for. 

Supper Stopper
Super Stopper uses a one-way, stainless steel roller bearing that eliminates backplay. This provides the angler with instant hooksetting power.

A-RB

The JigWrex blanks have a dual stage design, enabling the jigger to really work that heavy metal hard and get full value for his their efforts, but without epending huge amounts of energy in the process. Once hooked-up though, they have incredible power in reserve to stop big fish blasting their way back to the bottom.

The reel seats on JigWrex rods are all Fujis, and on the heavier models feature their Long Lock Nutts and seat rings that prevent the reel working loose while fighting fish. The guides are Fuji Silicon Carbides, with Fuji CMNST Tips, which are designed to minimise line wear and handle the strain that big fish hooked in deep water impose on fishing rod componentry.
