Also new for the Catalina is our self-lubricating gear system. This self-lubricating gear has an oil-impregnated bushing that releases oil to the moving parts when they are heated to allow for continuous, smooth operation. Add to this our dual anti-reverse system for quiet retrieves and our newly designed ergonomic aluminum handle system for solid comfort and performance. For Ultimate strength and durability Okuma engineers design all Catalina reels with a dual anti-reverse system.
