Our founder was the late Jim “Jarvis” Walker, a skilled fisherman who had a vision to produce professional quality fishing tackle at a reasonable price for recreational anglers and the general public. By the 1950’s and 1960’s the name Jarvis Walker had become synonymous with Australian fishing and has since grown to become a true Australian icon.

The Jarvis Walker Mirage range of reels features a graphite body and rotor. All Jarvis Walker Mirage reels are pre-spooled with line and ready for use.
For the price conscious angler Mirage reels also feature an one site sealed ball bearing, stainless steel main shaft, die cast folding handle with a comfort rubber knob and a brass pinion gear.
