The new range comprises 5 products, All being highly portable Esky. Their innovative features, ruggedised design and construction and contemporary styling reinforce the iconic Esky brand as the market leader in this competitive category.

The Ice King range was designed and developed in Australia, manufactured in Asia and is currently sold primarily into the Australian and NZ market, with distribution negotiations underway for other international markets.

The bodies and lids of the coolers have been fully insulated, increasing “ice life” in extreme heat conditions to over 5 days in the larger size and 3 days for the smallest size.

The new models include a number of innovative features:

- Heavy duty, all terrain wheels (65L + 45L)
- High strength carry + pull handles that are fully recessed when not in use.
- Integrated lid and body carry handles in 27L.

The aesthetic appearance of the product family takes its styling queues from modern automotive design, creating a rugged sports image to build on Esky’s market leading brand. 
Care has been taken to optimise internal storage space, whilst maintain a sensible external size and form. All models will store wine, champagne and 2L soft drink bottles standing upright and neatly pack 6-packs of cans. The larger models have an interchangeable food tray to provide elevated storage for foods that need to be kept dry. The 65L also includes a handy compartment divider.

The ergonomics of these products have been carefully considered. Size, length and shape of carry and pull handles have been optimised to encourage correct and comfortable use, particularly when lifting heavily loaded coolers. Pull handles on the large Esky’s allow the user to walk alongside in a comfortable position whilst towing. Separate carry handles are housed inside the larger pull handle and are easily accessed for lifting. The smaller 27L, 12L and 6L have a comfortable single carry handle in the lid.
