When using Black Magic 7/0 or 9/0 live bait rigs, use the trace as is or shorten to suit. Attach to the 3 way swivel from our livebait ballon pack (not included with this set). If fishing in deep water you may only need 1 to 1&1/2m of trace, with a suitable ball sinker ABOVE the  the swivel. If hooking the livebait through the back, Make sure the kirb of the hook points up when the shank of hook lies towards the tail.
This is important as predator fish attack their prey head first and if the barb lay's against the skin of the livebait when the predator fish attacks, then this will result in NO HOOK-UP
