The captain's rig is a thingummy that allows one to fish softbaits in deep water especially where theres a good tidal flow and the wind's in the same direction, and of course drift fishing.The ordinary jighead never reaches the bottom, or if it does it's half a mile behind. Designed in Australia by Mark ‘the Captain’ Phillips and Nitro’s Matt Fraser, the elevator rig was developed due to the need for extra fast fall in deeper water to get your bait down to where the fish are and still retain a nice light action.

Built on extra strong Yakiba hooks with a Super Grip Grub keeper that keeps soft, baits firmly attached.

Extremely effective on deep water snapper. Use with XXH split ring and bomb sinker.
Attach Elevator rig to a dropper weight to get it right down to where the fish are
