Alvey 45BC Kayak Fishing Reel

These are a great reel for Kayak fishing and have been taken up by a number of ardent kayak fishers, as they can easily survive a good dunking, and don't succumb to the same problems experienced by standard reels after excessive salt water ingress.

This reel is also constructed with a strong light weight graphite back and the Easy Cast System.

The 45BC has an on/off switch on the back of the reel to engage the anti-reverse action. A smooth multi- plate clutch controls any line being taken by a larger fish. Ideal for freshwater and light saltwater fishing for snapper, gurnard and terekihi.
